TASTE 2010: A Garden of Earthly Delights
On Thursday, April 22, Root Division will host TASTE 2010, a unique and sumptuous evening celebrating the beauty of art & food in San Francisco. TASTE 2010 will feature 8-10 acclaimed local chefs, 16-20 visual artists, and live music, for a night of inspired food, drink, art, & music. This event presents guests with daring culinary delights and a visual feast, joining them together in glorious form on-site in Root Division's gallery & studios. As this year’s event coincides with the 40th anniversary of Earth Day, the theme -- A Garden of Earthly Delights -- reminds us to celebrate the Earth’s bounty & springtime abundance. NERT will stage a city-wide drill on April 17th and you can help!
NERT will stage a city-wide drill on April 17th and you can help! NERT needs volunteers to play the role of victims in the city-wide drill at Everett Middle School on Saturday, April 17th. You will be assigned a particular injury and be made up with theatrical bandages. It is a fun opportunity to hone your acting skills and help out a great cause. Practice makes perfect. People of all ages are welcome. There is nothing like an actual hands-on experience to prepare us for what we may encounter in a real life disaster.
