Most of us associate 1999 with the frantic preparation for Y2k. Others remember the Dow Jones Industrial Average closing above the 10,000 mark. The dot.com implosion was on the horizon. Gas was $1.17 a gallon. We had a democrat in the White House. 1999 is not only the year that Napster debuted, or the year that the Yankees completed a 4-game sweep of the Atlanta Braves to win the World Series.

You see, in 1999, just before the last Checker taxi cab was retired in New York City, and only 9 days after Apple Computer released the first iBook, something really, really important happened to the world – CitiScape Property Management was born.

Kevin Wiley and Edward Dale came together over a cheese sandwich at a corner deli in downtown San Francisco, and the Property Management industry hasn’t been the same since.
