You've probably noticed a bit of a theme with the blog lately, it's all about FOOD! There are so many cool, local food events taking place this Summer, I just couldn't not share them. This weekend, there are two really great events:

San Francisco's 18th Street Block Party - 8/28

"If you don't feel like crossing the bridge to the Eat Real Festival weekend, stick closer to home and check out the 18th Street Block Party this Saturday, August 28. Food, beverages, pie contests and more, served up from some of the block's best residents, including Kasa, Bi-Rite Market & Creamery, Tartine Bakery, Out the Door (their commissary is on 18th), El Huarache Loco and more. The event is free and runs from 12-4 p.m. between Dolores and Guerrero." - 7x7 Bits n Bites
