National Night Out - America's Night Out Against Crime
National Night Out - America's Night Out Against Crime - is Tuesday, August 3rd. So get out, join your neighbors and friends, and do something fun and positive in your community. The Bayview-Hunters Point community will host the Bayview National Night Out in partnership with San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development and San Francisco Police Department. This year’s event is being hosted by the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center’s Third Street Corridor Project, along with many other community partners.
National Night out is designed to:
Get involved in San Francisco's National Night Out! It's a great way for your Neighborhood Watch groups to do something social with each other and with the Police Department. Activities include BBQ's, softball games, bocce ball, resource fairs, entertainment, and presentations by community leaders.
Central: Joe DiMaggio Playground, Lombard @ Stockton, 6-8pm, food, bocce ball
Southern: Treasure Island, Gateview Ave near Northpoint, 6-8pm, food, games, music
Bayview: Bayview Opera House and Mendell Plaza, 3rd Street @ Oakdale, 4-8pm
Mission: Valencia Gardens, 15th St & Valencia, 5-9pm
Northern: 762 Fulton Street AAACC, 5-8pm Food, Entertainment
Park: Boys & Girls Club, 1950 Page St., 5-8pm, basketball, food, fun
Richmond: Richmond Station, 461 6th Ave., 6-8pm, resources & refreshments
Ingleside: 2800 block of Alemany, 5pm, Paint & Plant party to paint over graffiti & plant new foliage
Taraval: West Sunset Rec Connect, 3223 Ortega @ 39th Ave. 4-6pm
Tenderloin: 570 Ellis Street, Children’s Playground, Music, games, prizes

- Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships;
- Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back!
